Senior Marketing Strategist

Manning & Napier is headquartered in Fairport, NY with regional offices in St. Petersburg, FLColumbus OH and Seattle, WA. Founded in 1970, we provide a broad range of investment solutions, as well as a variety of consultative services that complement our investment process. We serve a diversified client base of high-net-worth individuals and institutions, including 401(k) plans, pension plans, Taft-Hartley plans, endowments and foundations. For many of these clients, our relationship goes beyond investment management and includes customized solutions that address key issues and solve client-specific problems. 

We are currently recruiting for an individual to join our Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing strategies for Perspective Partners (PPI), a subsidiary of Manning & Napier. PPI is launching NestUp Managed Deferrals, an innovative, automated means for both C-suite and rank-and-file employees to improve tax savings and long term investing outcomes by optimizing deferrals into 401(k) and HSA accounts.


  • Create and contribute to content/idea origination and development, including concept, tactics, packaging, and distribution
  • Work with strategic marketing team (i.e., designers, writers, event coordinators, digital, etc.) to ensure flawless campaign execution
  • Ensure brand consistency, customer-centricity and integrity across all communications
  • Monitor analytics, and analyze outcomes and implications
  • Work closely with sales and support teams to keep them informed, trained, and ensure they are aligned on campaign efforts

User Engagement

  • Develop and execute campaigns targeting NestUp® users, to attract new users and to drive actions and transactions, recognizing that campaigns need to meet the needs of diverse audiences
  • Work closely with NestUp product development to generate activity on key NestUp site assets

Marketing Automation

  • Develop and execute email campaign strategies, including: weekly email calendar, identify target audience, maintain and create lists, and identify marketing qualified leads
  • Create content for emails, landing pages, print collateral, video, text messages, etc.,
  • Use marketing automation to generate targeted campaigns across audiences
  • Work closely with sales to generate higher lead scores, accelerate new business opportunities with warm leads, and nurture existing relationships
  • Identify and implement capture and nurture strategies using segmentation, landing pages, and forms
  • Help identify new prospects through lead gen programs, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. and incorporate appropriately into nurture programs


  • Enable sales to successfully nurture leads through the pipeline to identify opportunities, using Pardot, LinkedIn, marketing content, and strategic engagement tactics
  • Train and educate Sales on how/why to use LinkedIn, including sharing content, optimizing profile, using inMails for outreach, and SalesNavigator for prospecting
  • Help to develop and internally promote LinkedIn content and track success using Pardot custom links
  • Source and work with external design, content and creative resources as needed
  • Other projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
  • A successful track record of creating and implementing marketing campaigns that delivers measurable results
  • Experience with campaigns targeting both employees and employers (HR, benefits professionals)
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Marketing Automation tools (Pardot, etc.)
  • Excellent writing, time management, decision-making, presentation, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Extremely organized and highly motivated
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment
