Information Security Intern - Summer 2021

Summary

As an Information Security Intern, you will work on the design, implementation and maintenance of security technology solutions, policies, and governance programs. We hope to give you an experience that develops your skills as an Information Security professional, so your responsibilities will be heavily rely on your interests and skills.

Our IT Security team provides technical advice and support on information security concerns- our mission being to support the growth and profitability of the firm through security and protection of our technology to meet our client’s needs.

You will report to the IT Security Manager, and work closely with IT Security Administrators. We will rely on you to support IT projects, and we hope you bring a fresh perspective to our ongoing needs.

As the ideal candidate, you will exemplify the following:

  • Taken coursework in Information Security
  • Understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Looking for CISSP certification (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Qualifications

  • Students who have completed at least three years of a degree program with a concentration in Computing Security (preferred), Computer Science or related field with a strong record of academic achievement
  • Familiar with standard concepts and procedures within the IT field
