Information Security Administrator

For many of these clients, our relationship goes beyond investment management and includes customized solutions that address key issues and solve client-specific problems. We are currently recruiting for an individual to join our IT Team.


The Information Security Administrator provides technical advice on a wide variety of information security issues, concerns, and problems. The Administrator ensures that all business applications and technical systems developed in-house or developed by outsiders on behalf of the Company include adequate control measures. The Administrator also provides technical assistance with the design, installation, operation, service and maintenance of a variety of information security systems such as firewalls, intrusion prevention, vulnerability assessments, and malware detection. The Administrator works closely with DBAs, network services, and development staff to ensure that all company data and systems are secure.


  • Evaluates information system bug reports, security exploit reports, and other information security notices issued by information system vendors, government agencies, professional associations, and other organizations, and as needed, makes recommendations to IT management for recommended precautionary measures
  • Runs periodic vulnerability identification software packages and related tools to immediately highlight errors in systems configuration, the need for the application of fixes and patches, and other security related changes
  • Interprets information security policies, standards, and other requirements as they relate to a specific internal information system, and assists with the implementation of these and other information security requirements
  • Conducts selected tests of information security measures in accordance with specific instructions provided by the IT Director
  • Maintain Information Security policies, procedures, and standards
  • Involved with Information Security Incident Response team


  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-2 years technical security experience, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Hands-on technical mastery of standard security tools and programs
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • SOX and HIPAA compliance experience preferred
